2007-07-02 03:33:30 |  | I have been with Oanda for +4 years now. Have had all the disconnects and such, but I have had no customer-company problems. I am in the black and I have no desire to leave any soon.
People who blast should also state whether their account is in the black as a measure of their credibility as traders. | EvelFriski
2006-11-07 13:34:52 |  | News Release = losing connection for the entire hour. Ran a check on others in a chatroom. Most have this problem, only one doesn't have this problem.
Full statistic is not available, just note that there are connection loss for some of us and none for some.

Oanda FAIL during the release of news. It might not apply to everyone, it just happens to me on every news event that I "attend".
During the recent US NFP news, I was attending a webminar with some other traders. They too had issues with Oanda at news release.
Other than that, I have absolutely no problem with Oanda. | Jeff Valasek
