2006-09-20 03:37:41 | | NF has had some connection issues recently due to their servers being attacked. I am however quite happy with them and they have taken steps to protect themselves and deal with the problem.
Support always gives me what I want, stop/limit orders are always honoured without slippage and spread widens only 1-3 pips during news releases, not the 15-30 pip spread nightmares I have been hearing about in other brokers.
Deposit and withdrawal is dealt with without fuss and without fees. I've not experienced any stop hunting.
North Finance is not recommended for those with less than $3-5k due to the lack of micro lots. If you have money and need a good retail broker as you work towards joining an ECN, its a good choice. |

2006-09-19 13:06:16 | | Well NF honours all buy stops and sell stops meaning stradles during news time. Yeah they do go offline these days sometimes, but it happens recently.
Maybe due to increase traffic to their servers. Hopefully less customers will stay with NF anyway. So the service will be back as usual. |
